So many needs were discovered on this maiden voyage. Moving through mind-numbing poverty, disease and suffering, Martha was so inspired by the happiness and hopefulness of the people she met everywhere in Uganda. After visiting three different districts (states) in two weeks, she returned home and the work began to unfold.
Call To Care Uganda is located in Madison, Connecticut. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our dedicated team works hard at fulfilling a promise made to the children in Uganda – we will be their voice. By raising awareness of the children’s plight, we are able to form the human bridges across the ocean and provide assistance directly into the hands of those in need.
Connections and partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, civic organizations, neighbors, loved ones and friends from all over the US have made it possible for a small group of dedicated people to make a difference in our world. It delights us to be able to ease the pain and bring comfort to the suffering – cross-continentally – who may otherwise be forgotten.
It takes a village….and we’d love to bring you along on this journey too!
