The Ripple Effect...

Doing our work in Uganda comes with the opportunity and joy of building lasting relationships with donors, recipients and vendors. At the top is our relationship with Rotary Clubs and Rotary International! We’ve been working together since 2007 and have been “partners in success” on 39 well drilling projects in Uganda. Together we’ve delivered water to over 29,000 people and the good work is continuing.

In 2025, the Madison Rotary Club took the lead to work with CTCU on the “Uganda Wells & Opus For Peace” global grant project. Together with support from generous clubs in New England and beyond, we’ll be drilling 25 wells in Ugandan villages and schools who are so desperately in need. Click here to listen to a podcast with more information on the project.

Another ripple: On May 31st, Martha Wells Hoffman received the 2024-25 “Excellence in Service to Humanity” award from Rotary International, presented by District Governor Robert Friend.

The ripples of our work continue to create energy and momentum towards our UN Goal to drill 100 new wells by 2030. With our latest big splashes of wells 92, 93 and 94, we’re now at 19% of the goal!

Stay tuned for progress updates... Water is life - let's keep it flowing!
